About us

The Mediterranean Federation of Internet Associations is a regional non-governmental organization.

It was founded on the 31th August 2007 by the Tunisian Association of Internet and Multimedia.

The Mediterranean Federation of Internet Associations is headquartered in Tunis with a decision of the Constituent General Assembly. It is open to all Internet associations that are located in Mediterranean countries.

Its aim is to create a Mediterranean digital space that would be an essential support for the economic, cultural and academic areas of the Mediterranean region.

Cooperate

We cooperate with any organization international or regional, co-operative or federative operating for bringing closer of the Mediterranean shore’s countries.

Support

We support scientific and technical meetings, symposiums and conferences related to the Internet, its governance, and information systems.

Sensitize

We take care of raising awareness of operators, Internet professionals and large companies using the Internet for their marketing and sales needs and the necessity to move to a higher stage and expose them the benefits of progress.

Equality

It is good to provide equal chances to everyone, that’s why we contribute to the reduction of the digital divide between the countries of the Mediterranean basin.
